Heath Lodge Care Services Limited is a local provider of care and support in the home for children with special needs and for families. We work with families to meet their child care needs by:

Listening to what is important to you

• Respecting rights, choices and preferences
• Providing a flexible, reliable service with a familiar face
• Responding flexibly to changing need

We help children to grow in independence by:

• Providing specially trained Support Workers
• Encouraging children to learn through play
• Encouraging children to do tasks for themselves whenever possible
• Observing the child in other settings, such as school, if appropriate

We provide support for parents and carers by:

• Carrying out care for the child with special needs, giving parents a break
• Working with other children or carrying out chores to allow the parent to care for the special needs child
• Caring for children in a household where parents have a disability

We can help with:

Personal Care

• Getting the child up and ready for school
• Bathing, showering and help with toileting
• Help with eating and drinking

Social and Play

• Involving the child in play activities
• Taking the child out

Domestic Care

• Carrying out light housework to enable the parent to spend time caring for the special needs client.
